Police are investigating after the early morning fire
Police are investigating an early morning house fire in South River.
Emergency crews were called to a home on Broadway Avenue around 2 a.m. yesterday.
The Almaguin Highlands OPP and the South River Machar Fire Department responded to the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. OPP forensic teams, the local crime unit, and the Office of the Fire Marshal are involved.
More details are expected as the investigation continues.
