High winds could cause damage to shorelines & infrastructure
A Flood Watch remains in effect for the Black, Gull, and Muskoka River watersheds until May 2nd.
The MNR says water levels will stay high through the weekend and into next week, with up to 41mm of rain expected.
Residents in flood-prone areas should take precautions, as runoff and melting snow continue to raise lake and river levels. The ministry warns ice is unsafe and high winds could push it into shorelines, damaging docks and other infrastructure.
