Everyone got out safely and the building is expected to re-open
Huntsville Fire Department crews responded to a fire in the public bathrooms at Town Hall this morning at about 11:15.
Multiple fire trucks attended the scene and firefighters quickly extinguished the fire. There were no injuries and no damage has been reported.
The cause of the fire is not known. Town Hall was filled with smoke and is now being ventilated. Officials expect the building to reopen later today.
