Candidates are declaring across the region for the municipal elections in October
Municipal election season is ramping up across Muskoka, with several key announcements already shaping the races.
In Gravenhurst, Mayor Heidi Lorenz is seeking re-election, pointing to progress on health care, housing and local business growth.
Meanwhile in Huntsville, both Dan Caswell and Scott Morrison have declared for the mayor’s seat, each highlighting priorities like finances, infrastructure and community services.
And in Lake of Bays, Mayor Terry Glover has announced he will not run again, opening the door for new leadership.
Voting across the region is set for October.
