Rain along with melting snow is causing roads to be covered in water in some areas
Bracebridge drivers are dealing with seasonal flooding and multiple road impacts following recent rainfall and snowmelt.
Officials say Germania Road is closed in both directions between civic address 1405 and Flynn’s Road, and again from Flynn’s Road to 1507 Germania Road. The closure remains in effect until further notice.
Several other roads are under caution, where water is covering sections but travel remains possible, including Campbell’s Road, Peterson Road, Reay Road, and Thompson Road at specified low-lying segments.
Town officials say public works crews continue to monitor conditions closely as water levels change, with updates to follow as needed.
