The Town of Bracebridge is getting a new public mural downtown. The Town, with the Downtown Bracebridge BIA, has selected Canadian artist Jacquie Comrie to create a large-scale piece at 19 Taylor Road.
Titled We All Come From Water, the mural draws inspiration from Muskoka’s waterways, waterfalls, and local fish, using bold colours to promote reflection and wellness.
The installation will take about five days, and Comrie is mentoring local emerging artists during the project. The mural is part of Bracebridge’s ongoing effort to boost public art, community wellness, and cultural vibrancy downtown.
