The new program will streamline programs and help reduce confusion
The District of Muskoka is launching a Service Excellence project aimed at making it easier for residents, businesses and visitors to access information and municipal services.
Supported in part through Ontario’s Rural Ontario Development program, the initiative will include a redesigned District website, improved online services and updated service standards. Officials say the goal is to simplify access to information, reduce confusion and create a more user-friendly experience.
District Chair Jeff Lehman says the project will help people find information, apply for permits, register for programs and navigate municipal services more efficiently.
The new District website is expected to launch in late 2026, with additional service improvements continuing afterward.
