It's a behind-the-scenes look at how our Engineering and Public Works
Bracebridge Deputy Mayor, Brenda Rhodes, announced the District of Muskoka is holding an Engineering and Public Works (EPW) Palooza, in the May 15th, 2025, Council meeting.
She indicated that it’s the second year the EPW department is holding the event, which will be held at their Rosewarne landfill site.
She said that she went last year and “it’s good for kids that like trucks.”
The District describes the event as “where dirt, diesel, and discovery meet.”
The EPW department will provide information about how they keep services safe and operations smoothly throughout the year.
They indicate, “We’re rolling out the big trucks and opening our doors for a behind-the-scenes look at how our Engineering and Public Works team keeps Muskoka running – rain, shine, snow or sleet.”
They add this year’s theme is “people, purpose, presence. These three words capture the heart of what it means to serve the community through public works.”
