The District of Muskoka is launching its first-ever Climate Youth Advisory Council and is looking for local high school students to join.

The volunteer program runs from this fall through June 2026 and will give teens in grades 9 to 12 a chance to learn about climate action, develop leadership skills, and design projects for their peers.

Youth accepted to the council will earn community service hours and receive recognition for their work. Applications are open until September 26.
