The award is one of Ontario's highest municipal honours
A senior Bracebridge official is being recognized with one of Ontario’s highest municipal honours.
Lori McDonald, the town’s Director of Corporate Services and Clerk, has received the 2026 Prestige Award from the Association of Municipal Managers, Clerks and Treasurers of Ontario.
The award recognizes exceptional leadership, professional excellence, and community service across the municipal sector. McDonald has worked in Bracebridge since 2004 and has served in her current role since 2013, overseeing elections, legislative services, human resources, and more.
Town officials say the recognition highlights her long-standing contribution to local government and municipal leadership across Ontario.
