Participants are encourage to bring water guns
The Bracebridge Fire Department is inviting families to cool off at Annie Williams Memorial Park later this month.
The department will host its So-Long Summer Splash on Wednesday, August 27, from 6 until 7:30 p.m. The event features a community water fight with firefighters, who will bring along their equipment, including the ladder truck’s aerial hose.
Visitors will also be able to tour fire trucks, meet the crew, and pick up fire safety tips.
Admission is free, though participants are asked to bring their own water guns.
