The film for this event was chosen by the robotics team students and it's not only perfect for their cause but also as appealing, funny, heartwarming and relevant as it was when it won both the Academy Award and Golden Globe for Best Animated Feature Film in 2009.

About the film: WALL-E is the last robot left on Earth. He spends his days tidying up the planet, one piece of garbage at a time. He has amassed quite a collection of things including the last living plant.on earth. WALL-E is more than a little lonely until he spots EVE, a sleek and shapely probe sent back to Earth on a scanning mission. Smitten, WALL-E embarks on his greatest adventure yet when he follows EVE across the galaxy to a space cruise ship which is carrying all of the humans who evacuated Earth 700 years earlier. Ultimately WALL-E, EVE and some malfunctioning robots have to find a way to retrieve the plant and save the earth.
