The Stockey Centre and Whispering River Orchestra & Chorus Present Mozart’s Requiem

Sunday, March 29 at 2:00 PM | The Stockey Centre for the Performing Arts (Parry Sound)

Experience the power of Mozart’s masterwork, Requiem in D minor, performed live at The Stockey Centre for the Performing Arts in Parry Sound by the Whispering River Orchestra & Chorus. Curated by Artistic Director Brenda Margaret Muller, and conducted by special guest Dr. Joshua Wood.

The program features music by Beethoven, Sibelius, and Canadian concert music by Parry Sound Singer's Director Len Ballantine, and Whispering River Orchestra's concertmaster Veda Hingert-McDonald. Featured soloists include Amy Dodington, Celine Cascanette, Fabián Arciniegas, and Parry Sound Choral Collective's Director William McArton.

Plus an art exhibition at the Stockey by renowned Canadian artist based in McKellar Reed Weir.
